I come from a place of co-creating a journey with you that deeply honors the wisdom and strengths you already carry with you, but may have learned to ignore or even forget. I will work with you to help you remember these gifts as well as develop new resources to help you work through unprocessed emotions and reclaim parts of yourself that you may have shamed or deemed unworthy.
I approach therapy from a holistic perspective that honors all aspects of a person as an integrated whole, using body-based somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness techniques, IFS and intuitive earth-based practices. As a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness guide, I often weave these therapeutic interventions into our session, helping to shift from a purely mental place to a softer more embodied place where you can connect more easily with your truth and inherent wisdom. When we begin to slow down and explore our present moment experience without judgment, full of curiosity and care, we can start to notice and transform old wounds, beliefs and patterns that interfere with our ability to live an authentic life full of connection.
