For as long as I can remember, I have always been moved by the magic of the night sky and the feeling that we are part of something larger and sacred. This sense of wonder eventually led me to a formal study of astrology.
Astrology is based on exploring the unique configuration of the planets and stars at the time of our birth. Throughout civilization this ancient practice has been a guide and symbolic roadmap for better understanding ourselves and the natural cycles of life. It can help illuminate our gifts, resources and potential as well as make us more aware of the parts of ourselves we are less familiar with, including the parts that we may suppress, shame or even exile. By becoming aware of the multiple parts alive in us at any given moment, we can create a life more aligned with our deepest needs, values and authentic self; a life of meaning. Astrology can also help clarify and deepen our awareness of the interdependent web of life that we are all a part of.
Astrological Consultations
I offer individual one-hour consultations rooted in the Hellenistic and Psychological Archetypal traditions of astrology. We will look at your natal chart to better understand the archetypal themes and patterns that compose your life and how to work with them. Consultations center around a question or theme you would like to explore. Common themes we can look at include physical and emotional health, life purpose and and vocational direction, romantic relationships, community, home, children, finances and travel. Astrological Counseling
I offer ongoing individual astrological counseling. This work is similar to psychotherapy; however, we will use the symbolic language of your birth chart as our primary guide. The primary goal of our work together is to provide more clarity, meaning and guidance on an emotional and spiritual level. We can explore one theme or area of focus or spend time getting to know your chart more comprehensively. We can commit to a specific amount of consecutive sessions or meet on an ongoing weekly basis.
